RiverHouse was founded in 2010 by Latrivia S. Nelson, President and CEO, to provide authors of all genres the opportunity to express themselves artisticially without the barriers that are often put on writers about their work.

Bell Dr. John E. Bell is a Surgical Podiatrist and former University part-time professor at Strayer University in Memphis, TN. He received his Doctorate Degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and his Masters Degree in Health Services Administration from Strayer University in Memphis, TN. He has 4 medical offices, where he is CEO of Excelsior Podiatry Clinic PLLC, an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Memphis, TN. Dr. Bell has been on numerous TV shows including: Fox 13 News Good Morning Memphis, Fox News in Baltimore, Maryland WBFF, the Ion media network TV Channel show with Tanya Dallas-Lewis in Fairfax, Virginia. He has a current commercial on NCR 24- hour news channel WREG-TV Memphis. He has also been on the Jiggy Jaguer radio show, the Georg and Nakisha Blog talk radio show, The Jay Blog talk radio show, the Rev. Jesse Lewis radio show and the Prison World radio show.Dr. Bell appeared this year at the Chef Eddies Restaurant for a book signing on February 11-13, 2011 in Orlando, Florida with the youth conference sponsored by the Cora Jefferson Radio Show in Orlando, Florida. He is a panelist at the National Book Club conference in Atlanta, Georgia on July 29-August 1, 2011. He also does community events in Memphis, TN such as Sisterhood Showcase, where he will appear as a premiering author of RiverHouse Publishing, LLC on June 5th and 6th of 2011. Not only a podiatrist and author, Dr. Bell also performs soul music and currently has a CD expected to debut in April of 2011 entitled, Dr. Bell Special Occasion Tribute from Soul to Soul. Henderson Jae Henderson's careers as a radio talk show host, marketing and media professional, freelance writer and voice over artist gave her a solid background for her new career. Ms. Henderson is making her debut as an Christian/inspirational romance author. One of this 30-something’s proudest moments was the creation of College Bound of Memphis, a non-profit dedicated to helping youth pursue a college education. Johnson At forty-two, Ronnie D. Johnson has had many titles -not all of them good, but the experiences outweigh the persona. He started his career out as a teenager in the US Navy aboard the super carrier John F. Kennedy. After a four-year career onboard the ship, he ended his enlistment and returned to his home in Memphis, TN. He pursued a career in music while working for ADT Security Company. While working for ADT, Ronnie discovered a passion for computers and started to develop his skillst. After leaving ADT, Ronnie went to work for the City of Memphis Police Department, where he used his skills to propel himself to the upper levesl of the Department. Things took a turn for the worse when a scandal rocked the Department, and Ronnie was caught up in the chaos. Instead of prolonging the agony, Ronnie accepted his fate and pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor felony charge and was sentence to a year and one day in a federal detention facility. Not one to look down on any situation, Ronnie kept his head together by reading computer magazines and Long Arm westerns. The federal detention center had a rule just for Ronnie to keep him away from all computers. This withdrawal sparked something inside Ronnie, and he started to write down some of the escapades of his fellow cellmates. He then engineered the design for the optimal computer system from the pages of computer magazine. Ronnie held his ideals together under a fictional persona that he made up loosely based on himself. “Frequency Hunter” is Ronnie’s alternate ego with an unlimited potential of growth and depth. Frequency Hunter is a mix between Microsoft (Bill Gates), who he greatly respected and MacGyver. After starting a successful business, working a full time job, plus dealing with the day-to-day antics of his two gorgeous children (Eboni and Ronnie Jr), when Ronnie was released from prison his quest to bring “Frequency Hunter” to print began.

RNelson A native Memphian, author Rhonda Nelson attended Hamilton High School. After graduation, she attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She continued her education at the University of Memphis, and received a Master’s degree in Public Administration. Presently, she is enrolled in Memphis Theological Seminary, pursuing a Master’s of Arts in Religion. Professionally, Nelson is a Joint Commission Surveyor for the Accreditation of Hospitals and the Chief Nursing Officer at Forrest City Medical Center. Prior to her current position, she was Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis (THE MED). In the community, Nelson has served in many capacities and on various boards throughout the city of Memphis including: Girls Incorporated of Memphis, Memphis City Beautiful Commissioner, and the Advisory Board for Nurse Executives. She is a graduating member of Leadership Memphis, and a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Nelson is also a member of Temple of Deliverance Church of God in Christ, a church under the former leadership of Bishop G.E. Patterson and now under the leadership of Superintendent Milton R. Hawkins. Being called to do the work of the ministry, she is a licensed Evangelist in the Church of God in Christ and has made several mission trips to Africa. Nelson signed with RiverHouse Publishing, LLC in March of 2011 and her first book, No Other Help I know, a Christian motivational novel will be released in April of this year.
